Legacy Title is a licensed title insurance provider and has extensive experience in issuing title insurance services to our clients and financial institutions so that all can get the important protection encountered in real estate transactions.  We are licensed agents of Stewart Title Guaranty Company in order to provide each of our clients with the necessary protection against the covered risks involved in any real estate transaction.

Secrets for a Smooth Closing
  • Call Legacy if you have a question or concern.  We want you to take possession of your new home on time.
  • Inform us of any possible issues that could affect title transfer.  Things such as probate, change in marital status, liens, etc.
  • Eliminate delays in funding by staying in touch with your lender.  Be sure you can furnish all of the required documents prior to the closing date.
  • Promptly provide payoff information on your existing loans and Social Security Number, if needed.
  • Notify us immediately if you choose to use a Power of Attorney, since both the lender and our legal staff must approve it.
  • Choose a Homeowner's Insurance company as soon as possible.  Let Legacy Title know the agent's name and phone number at least five days prior to closing.
